Second Suspect Charged in 2023 Armed Home Invasion Robbery

Bradenton Police detectives have charged James Reid, Jr., 29, in connection to the March 3, 2023, armed home invasion robbery in the 400 block of Cantabria Trail. Reid is the second suspect charged in this case. James Flowers, 37, was arrested in January.

Reid (seen in surveillance photos wearing a white shirt and black hoodie), Flowers (wearing green gloves), and two other suspects entered the victim’s residence, ransacked the home, and stole jewelry, cash, and a cell phone. Two adults and three children were in the house at the time.

Reid is charged with armed home invasion. He is in custody at the Falkenberg Road Jail in Hillsborough County for unrelated charges. There are no immediate plans to transfer Reid to Manatee County.

This investigation is ongoing.
