BPD volunteers aid in the overall efficiency of the organization by supplementing and supporting officers and civilian personnel by allowing them to concentrate on their primary duties. Volunteer roles may include performing general office duties, clerical support, data entry, reception desk assistance, and special projects. Volunteers are not utilized to replace sworn or other paid positions within the Bradenton Police Department, but rather to enhance the efficiency of the Agency.
