Bradenton Police Department - Press Release – Possession of Child Pornography

On July 26th, 2018, the Bradenton Police Department Criminal Investigations Section, in partnership with the FBI’s Child Exploitation Task Force, executed a search warrant on an apartment rented by Miguel Angel Bonilla-Rivera. Bonilla-Rivera, 24 of Bradenton, was found to be in possession of child pornography. During the subsequent interviews, Bonilla-Rivera disclosed to detectives he has utilized online social media accounts to upload, download, and view child pornography.
Bonilla-Rivera was charged with the following;
Direct/Promote a Sexual Performance by a Minor – Second Degree Felony
Sexual Performance of a Child – Second Degree Felony (10 counts)
Subsequent charges are pending. He is still being held at the Manatee County Jail.
