Retired Captain Randy Petroskey Passes Away
petroskyOn August 21, 2018, retired Bradenton Police Captain Randy Petroskey passed away at 62 years of age. He was spending time in his summer home located in Lorain, Ohio at the time of his death. Captain Petroskey is survived by his wife Pam, and son Nick.

Captain Petroskey served the Bradenton Police Department for more than 20 years, from August 29, 1985, until his retirement on May 31, 2007.

While here at BPD, then teaching for several years at the police academy, Captain Petroskey touched the lives of many in law enforcement. He was known as a mentor and leader - someone who dedicated their life towards cultivating successful young officers. He made a significant, positive impact on the careers of several members of this Department, and he will be truly missed.
