$3K in cigarettes stolen from Shell station

The Bradenton Police Department is investigating the burglary of nearly $3,000 in cigarettes from a Shell gas station located in the 3600 block of Cortez Rd. W.  

On Friday, July 15, at 3:56 AM, a rock was used to break the glass front door of the Shell station. Three men entered the store and filled a large garbage bag they brought with them with a total of 39 cartons of cigarettes, valued at $2,973. They were in the store for approximately one minute, and left in a 2021-22 Hyundai Elantra, which appeared to have black rims. The license plate was covered with a towel or shirt.

The suspects are Black, wore black hoodies, dark-colored pants, and gloves. One of the suspects had bright blue laces on his sneakers.

Note: The time stamp on the video obtained from the Shell station is confirmed to be one hour earlier than the time the crime occurred.
