Applications Accepted for BPD Contraband Forfeiture Grant Program

The Bradenton Police Department is accepting applications for its 7th Annual Florida Contraband Forfeiture Grant Program.  

The program provides financial support to neighborhood agencies and organizations engaged in projects seeking to improve neighborhood safety; promote crime or drug prevention; provide drug education or drug treatment services; and school resource programs. Community groups, associations, or organizations developing or offering specific projects to address these areas of concern within the municipal boundaries of the City of Bradenton can apply for funding. There are no matching fund requirements and no restrictions on funds requested or the scope of the project requesting support.  

Since 2018, the Bradenton Police Department has provided more than $102,000 to community organizations within the City of Bradenton.

The deadline to submit applications is 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
