Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon

UPDATE:

Eugene Williams turned himself in this afternoon without incident. He is charged with Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon and is being held without bond.

The victim is still in stable but critical condition.

Last evening around 7:00 PM, officers responded to the 800 block of 19th St Court E for a report of a shooting. Once on scene, they located a juvenile victim with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to All Children’s Hospital, where he is currently in stable but critical condition.

Detectives were able to identify 15-year-old Eugene Williams of Bradenton as the suspect. Williams was last seen in a white Infiniti sedan, seen in the picture below. The tag is not visible. An arrest warrant for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon has been signed for Williams and he is to be considered armed and dangerous.
