Man crashes into 11 cars at Manatee Memorial

Yesterday, at approximately 1:30 PM, Bradenton Police Department personnel responded to the parking lot of Manatee Memorial Hospital, 206 2nd St. E., Bradenton, for a report of a vehicle crash. Once on scene, officers determined 56-year-old Timothy P. McElroy of Sarasota, FL, had crashed into eleven vehicles parked in the parking lot. McElroy had indications of being under the influence, so the investigation was turned over to the BPD Traffic Unit for further investigation. McElroy was subsequently arrested and charged with eleven counts of DUI with property damage and careless driving.

All of the vehicles were unoccupied, and there were no injuries.
