Fatal motorcycle crash, Manatee Ave. E.

Sunday, May 1, 2022, at approximately 3:50 PM, Bradenton PD responded to a crash involving an overturned vehicle at the 1800 block of Manatee Ave E.
Investigators determined a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed on eastbound Manatee Ave crashed into a vehicle turning onto south on 18th St E, causing it to overturn. The motorcycle driver, David A. Williams, DOB 01/06/1986, of Palmetto, FL, died at the scene. The vehicle driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
This investigation is still ongoing; however, no criminal charges are expected.
