Shred unwanted documents for free at BPD on April 22, 2023

Help protect yourself from identity theft by shredding confidential, private, or important personal documents that you no longer need.

The Bradenton Police Department will host a free, on-site shredding event on Saturday, April 22, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. ShredQuick will shred your documents on-site at BPD, located at 100 10th St. W., Bradenton.

There is no limit on the number of documents you may drop off. Items may be in boxes, bins, or bags. You do not need to stay while your documents are being shredded, however, you’re welcome to.

This is a free event, sponsored by the Bradenton Blue Foundation, the charitable arm of the Bradenton Police Department, and Wagner Realty. Monetary donations will be accepted for the Bradenton Blue Foundation. Your donations help provide equipment and training to our officers and also benefit outreach programs.

Snacks and drinks will be provided.
