14th Annual Honoring The Badge

On Tuesday, December 13, 2022 the Bradenton Police Department, Bradenton Blue Foundation, Cox Chevrolet, Kingdom Life Christian Church, and Walmart #1004 partnered for the 14th Annual “Honoring the Badge.” Families facing hardships or need assistance buying gifts for their children this Christmas were personally invited to spend an evening shopping with Bradenton Police Officers and support staff, representatives of the State Attorney’s Office, and City of Bradenton officials.

Approximately 150 children participated in this year’s event. Since the program began in 2008, “Honoring the Badge” has helped make Christmas merrier for more than 2,000 children.

The Bradenton Police Department would like to extend our deepest thanks to our sponsors, as well as the City of Bradenton Fire Department and Early Learning Coalition.

Donations to the Bradenton Blue Foundation help make Honoring The Badge possible. If you’d like to donate to the Bradenton Blue Foundation, a 501(c)(3), you can do so at bradentonbluefoundation.org/donate.
