5th Annual Florida Contraband Forfeiture Grant Program

July 1, 2022

The Bradenton Police Department is pleased to announce its 5th Annual Florida Contraband Forfeiture Grant Program. The purpose of this grant program is to provide financial support to neighborhood agencies and organizations engaged in projects that seek to improve neighborhood safety, promote crime prevention, drug prevention, drug education, drug treatment services, or school resource officer programs. This is accomplished by offering funding to neighborhood groups, associations, or organizations which have developed specific projects to address these areas of concern. There are no matching fund requirements, nor are there restrictions on the amount of funding requested or the scope of the project for which support is requested.

This program will provide funds to community groups, associations, or organizations providing services to residents within the municipal boundaries of the City of Bradenton.

In 2021, more than $18,000 was awarded to eight organizations.

For more information on qualifications, and to obtain an application, please visit the Programs & Services page at BradentonPD.com.

Applications must be received by 4:00 p.m. on July 30, 2022.
