Construction underway on new Bradenton Police Department headquarters

Land clearing is complete, and construction is underway on the future headquarters of the Bradenton Police Department.

The new complex on 6th Ave. W. between 2nd St. W. and 3rd St. W., will accommodate Administrative Services, the Patrol Division, Patrol Support, a Real Time Crime Center, the Records Department, and the Property and Evidence Department. Additionally, it will feature meeting and training spaces and a dedicated parking structure.

This modern facility will provide enhanced space for officers, updated technology, and improved public access to police services, all aimed at better serving our community.

The headquarters is anticipated to open in 2026.
