Teens arrested for armed robbery
March 3, 2025
Case #: 2025-001471
The Bradenton Police Department arrested two teens for armed robbery with a firearm.
On February 25, BPD responded to a 911 call from a woman who reported that two teenage boys approached her at the River Trace apartment complex and asked for a ride, but she refused. She said they then threatened her with a gun and took her purse.
The victim provided descriptions of the suspects, and BPD patrol and Crime Reduction Team officers located one of them, a 17-year-old from Clearwater, hiding in a wooded area behind the complex. Officers also found two backpacks behind an apartment building. The bags contained electronics, 258 grams of marijuana, and a firearm reported stolen in Manatee County.
Detectives later identified the second suspect as Jeremiah Williams, 19, of Bradenton. Williams turned himself in to BPD on March 2.
The investigation is ongoing.
