K9 Striker and Officer Leeman join BPD K9 Unit

The Bradenton Police Department announces the addition of K9 Striker and Officer Nicholas Leeman to the K9 Unit.
K9 Striker, a Belgian Malinois, and Officer Leeman recently completed a 12-week training program and obtained FDLE certification in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Apprehension. The team is assigned to BPD's Crime Reduction Team and will provide security during Pittsburgh Pirates spring training games.
K9 Striker was acquired by the Bradenton Blue Foundation, through generous donations from the Pittsburg Pirates and the NDC Construction Company.
