Case #: 2025-000240

Four teens face felony criminal mischief charges for causing at least $5,000 in damage to a public bathroom last month.

On January 10, 2025, around 9 p.m., officers responded to Rossi Park on Bradenton's Riverwalk after a witness reported hearing "shattering" in the men's bathroom. The witness saw four teens leave the restroom.

Officers found damage to four sinks, two toilets, and two urinals.

Security camera footage shows the teens arriving on bicycles, entering the bathroom, and exiting a few minutes later.

The teens, identified through investigative methods, are aged between 14 and 16.

Criminal mischief resulting in damages exceeding $1,000 is a third-degree felony.
