Vehicle burglaries, thefts near 59th Ave. W., 15th St. E.

UPDATE (February 10, 2023): The Land Rover Discovery referenced below has been recovered. Bradenton Police detectives continue to ask for information on the suspects, as well as the location of the Kia referenced below.

The Bradenton Police Department is investigating a series of overnight vehicle thefts and burglaries.

Multiple vehicles were broken into in and around the 4000 block of 59th St. W. A 2017 beige Land Rover Discovery with FL tag NWLS33 was also stolen from this area. There are three suspects involved in the vehicle theft and burglaries. All were wearing dark-colored hoodies, face coverings, long pants, and blue latex gloves.

Also overnight, a black 2020 four-door Kia Forte with FL tag QKSJ26 was stolen from a residence in the 1200 block of 15th St. E., Bradenton. At this time investigators have not determined if the theft of the Kia is connected to the burglaries and vehicle theft in the 59th St. W. area.

The Bradenton Police Department reminds you of these crime-prevention tips:

  • Always lock your vehicle

  • Do not leave valuables in plain view inside your vehicles

  • Park in well-lit areas at night

  • Keep your garage door closed and locked at night

  • Be suspicious of anyone approaching your vehicle or roaming your neighborhood
