Community Oriented Policing (COPS) House open house, March 23

You're invited! BPD's first Community Oriented Policing (COPS) House open house is Thursday, March 23, from 5-7 p.m.

Located at 1801 17th Ave. W., the COPS House, formerly known as the Girl Scouts Little House, was built in 1950 by the Bradenton Kiwanis Club. After decades of use, the Little House was acquired by the Bradenton Police Department. The remodeled building now provides a place for our Explorer Program, our Traffic Unit offices, a training room, and a break space for uniformed officers. We are excited about the future, as we expand its use as a space for community events and meetings, outreach programs, tutoring, and more.

Please stop by and take a tour of the space and meet with leaders from the Bradenton Police Department and the City of Bradenton.

Limited on-site parking is available. Guests may also park at West Bradenton Baptist Church Southside, located at 1604 17th Ave. W.
